Century Game, the publisher of the popular mobile game; Family Famrseaside, King of Avalon, and many more, has just released a brand new game called Dream Detective on Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The game is also available on Steam. If you have just started playing the game, then you are on the right page. This Dream Detective game walkthrough guide teaches all the fundamentals of the game. Dream Detective Guide: –
There are many things to do in the Dream Detective game. The core of the game is finding the hidden objects as soon as possible. Also, collect all the Elves in the game. In most of the challenges, the game gives you a few seconds to find the objects on the scene; wrong selection reduces the given time while finding the right objects increase the challenge time. In some of the game modes, for example; challenges, the game gives you unlimited time to find the object. By completing the challenges, you will earn coins, EXP to level up. You can use the coins to build or decorate the castle. Let’s learn about everything.
Challenges: –
You can play the challenge mode in three difficulty levels; beginner, detective, and expert. For example – The first chapter or challenge scene in the game is – The Detective’s Home. This scene can be played in three difficulty levels – beginner, detective, and expert. The scene changes if you choose a different difficulty level. By completing these challenges, you will earn EXP, coins. EXP is required to raise the level – increase the level to unlock new areas in the castle. Also, to unlock other game modes, you must meet the level requirement.
Activity: –
In the footer menu, head to the activity tab. This is where you can access other game modes; Endless Game modes give you score points – the more score points you earn in this Dream Detective game mode, the faster you climb up in the leaderboard. The top players on the leaderboard get free abundant coins. Also, it has an event mode where you get challenges – complete them for more valuable rewards. Other than the event, endless modes, you can play adventure, survival, and blitz mode. These game modes unlock when you reach level 15, 22, and 18.
Castle: –
Castle in the Dream Detective game needs to be reconstructed. All the objects there need repairing. Tap on the object, spend the coins and repair it. You can check the complete list of objects that need repairing in the top-left corner of the castle screen.
How do you level up in Dream Detective game?
You need a certain amount of XP to level up. For example – To reach level 6 in Dream Detective, you need to grind 68 experience points(EXP/XP). XP can be obtained by completing the challenges or playing other game modes available in the activity tab. In the upper-left corner of the game interface, you can keep an eye on the level progress; the level bar states the amount of XP that you need to reach the next level. Keep playing the endless mode levels to grind a ton of EXP.
In-Game Currencies: –
- Coins – To repair the objects in the castle. Earn by completing the challenges, playing the game modes
- Energy – To play the game. It restores automatically; after every few minutes
- XP – To level Up
- Ad-free cards – To skip all Ads in the game. Watch the video Ad to obtain or buy with real money from the shop
How do you get Elves in Dream Detective game?
Elves are the cute creatures in the Dream Detective game. You can obtain Elves from the challenge scenes, by doing certain tasks – there is a unique way for each Elf. As of now, the game features 65 Elves – so there are 65 ways to obtain the Elves. For example – you can obtain Ad-Mania Worm Elf by watching the video Ads(it pops out randomly if you watch some Ads).
Conan Doyle Elve can be found in the study room. Enter the detective’s home challenge from the challenge menu -> play the detective level scene -> tap the door to enter the study room -> there you will find this elf. Go to the Castle menu -> in the upper-left corner, tap the book to open the list of Elves -> tap the elf portrait to see the tip. You can get more tips by watching the video Ad. There are two types of elves in Dream Detective; Ordinary and Rare. Rare elves give you coins in the castle.

Dream Detective Cheats, Tips & Tricks: –
1.) Use Hints If You Are Having Trouble
There are so many objects to find in a challenge; some could be large while some are very tiny and it’s hard to catch them. If you are stuck, it’s better to get the hints by watching the video Ad. In the upper-left corner, tap the magnifying glass or hint icon -> watch the video Ad -> get the hint. Tap the magnifying glass in the upper-left corner to use it. After that, the game will highlight the object.
Also, tap the object that you are trying to find to get the tip. The tip gives you an idea of the location where you can find it.
2.) Get AD-Free Cards
Watching video ads for the hints in the middle of the game could be annoying. So we would recommend getting the Ad-free cards. These cards help you skip the Ads – for example – if you have one Ad-free card, you can use it to skip one Ad – it’s good to have these cards when playing the endless mode or where the time is limited. How do you get these cards? By watching the video Ads. Go to the challenge tab -> in the top-right side, tap the video play type icon -> watch the video Ads and gather the Ad-free cards. Also, from the shop. 
3.) Complete The Achievements
In the challenge tab or activity tab, on the top-left side, tap the avatar to enter the profile menu. There you can see all the achievements that you can complete and get valuable rewards. Also, from there you can switch to the outfit tab and make your avatar look cool. In the leaderboard, you may see other players’ avatars with different outfits.
4.) Level Up And Repair The Castle
One of the main objectives of the Dream Detective game is repairing the castle. There are over 50 things to repair – so level up, unlock the new areas in the castle and discover new things like wishing pool.
5.) Grind A Lot Of Coins
You will need plenty of coins to repair the castle. Play the endless game modes in the activity menu to grind coins. Also, go to the shop -> there you can get free energy, ad-free card, coins, by watching the video Ads.
