Hype City – Idle Tycoon is a simple Idle game where you build and grow the city by installing useful facilities. The most fun and challenging part of the game is solving the puzzle – you will have to solve the Tetris like puzzle to plant the building in the city. Also, it is unqiue – in most of the Idle games, you just pay the Idle cash and that’s it. The rest of the aspects of the game are similar to other Idle games out there. Hype City – Idle Tycoon Guide: –
Your goal is to get rich and grow the city. All you have to do is build and upgrade the buildings. There are lots of free slots in the city where you can construct buildings. These buildings make you money over time – you can increase the earnings from a particular building by upgrading it and assigning managers. At the top-center of the game screen, you can check the total reserve; the amount of Idle Gold Coins that you have in the current time. And, just below it, it displays the earnings per second.
In the upper-left corner of the screen, you can check the total population in the city. The more population you bring, the more money you make from the buildings. You can boost the buildings by upgrading buildings like Tennis Court.
How To Get Buildings?
You get the buildings from the briefcases, which costs you gems, coins or a video Ad. From the briefcases, you get random cards; it could be a building or a manger. There are three types of briefcases; small, medium, and large. The small one contains basic building(low earnings), basic managers(low perks). Medium Size Briefcase contains rare managers and rare buildings. And, the last one, which is Large Size Briefcase, it features Legendary buildings.
Managers: –
The managers in Hype City – Idle Tycoon can be assigned to the buildings. All managers grant unique skills. For example – reduce the upgrade cost, increase the income, generate more income in less time, etc. To activate the manager’s skill, tap the upgrade button in the footer menu -> activate -> tap the skill icon to activate it.
Tap on a building where you want to assign a manager -> then tap the (i) button -> on the next screen, tap the assign button next to a manager to assign him/her. Tap the unassign button to unassign him/her.
Locations In Hype City – Idle Tycoon: –
At the time of writing this post, the game features three locations where you can build your city; Sydney(starting location), New York, and Bali. At the top-center of the screen, pay attention to the balloon plane – it displays the progress to reach the next city. In the bottom-right corner, tap the location option -> there you can check the number of coins you need to reach that city.
Hype City – Idle Tycoon Tips, Cheats & Strategies: –
1.) Learn To Reduce The Upgrade Cost
If you have got a manager with the skill to reduce the upgrade cost, then you can use him/her to reduce the building upgrade cost. As you know that as you upgrade the building, its upgrade cost gets higher every time. If you are low on Idle Cash, assign the manager(having the skill that reduces the building upgrade cost) to that building that you want to upgrade -> then activate his/her skill and then upgrade the building. You can activate the managers’ skills by heading to upgrade menu -> activate(tap the ⇑ button in the footer menu -> activate).
2.) Keep Building And Upgrading
- Look around the city and you will find a lot of empty sites where buildings can be constructed. Buy those sites and build the building there to earn more money.
- Upgrade the buildings to increase earnings per second
- Upgrade the city bank to reserve more cash
3.) Tap The Helicopter
Now and then, a helicopter appears in the city. Tap it and watch the video ad for gems or coins.
4.) Activate The Managers’ Skills
Keep in mind that assigning managers is not the only task – you will have to activate their skills from time to time if you want to get benefit from their active skills.
5.) Double The Income
At the bottom-center, there would be an income multiplier booster that you can activate by watching the video Ad.
6.) Get The Gift Box From Train
On the left corner of the city, head to the train stations – the train delivers the free gifts now and then.
