Metamoki’s latest Idle game, Idle Food Truck Tycoon has just gone available worldwide. In the game, the player manages own food truck business and try to grow it by buying and upgrading the trucks. The game challenges you to complete the truck collection; over (30) trucks are available to unlock – by opening the recipe books. Idle Food Truck Tycoon Guide

Your main objective is to unlock all the trucks as soon as possible. Every new truck slot will cost a lot of coins. So the target is to earn more coins every single second. In this game, all you have to do is buy and upgrade the trucks to make coins. Every new truck will make more money than the previously unlocked truck. For example – As you can see in the below picture, there are seven trucks on the screen. The last truck is Do or Donut, at no. 7 slot. This truck makes more money than the previously unlocked truck, which is at no. 6 slot – Pizza Truck. So, to make more money focus on the new trucks. (No. 9> No.8 >7>6>5>4>3>2>1). In this array, the truck at no. 9 slot makes more money than all the trucks. So, you should upgrade the truck no.9 first, then 8, then 7, and so on.

The Upgrades

There are two types of upgrades – the level upgrade and the booster upgrades. At the bottom-right corner of the screen, tap the volt sign to open the level upgrade screen -> here you can level up the trucks. Increase the truck level to make more money. Every milestone level, you will get a massive profit boost. The profit booster upgrade – tap the fork button at the bottom-right corner -> here you can spend coins to automate and boost the profit from trucks. The automate function – usually, when you buy a new truck, you have to tap it every time it generates money. When you automate the truck production, you don’t need to do so.

The Cash In Function – Earn Cash

The Cash In function works like other Idle games. It is also known as the prestige feature. Using this feature, you can earn dollars. The more dollars you have, the more profit boost you get. For example – If you have $7K, you can get over 14.9K % bonus. That means 14.9K % more money from all trucks. You can also use the dollars to buy boosters in the upgrade section(tap the fork at the bottom-right corner -> go to the dollars tab -> there you can use the dollars). Make sure to spend wisely.

Idle Food Truck Tycoon Events Guide

The event is a great way to earn gems, recipe books. All you have to do is start a new business in a new location and try to go as far as you can in earning money as well as the event currency. For example – at the time of writing this post, there is an event going on in Los Angeles location where the player can start a separate food truck business. The currency in this event does not carry away to the main game. But, In the event too, you can use the prestige function. Go to the event screen and tap the office -> cash In -> earn tickets. You can spend these tickets to buy gems, recipe books. To use these tickets, tap the location name at the top-left corner of the event screen. Keep in mind that you can use the tickets or event special currency in the event deals too – there you can get boosters.

And, also keep in mind that, when you use the Cash-In feature in the event, it works as same as the main game – the progress will reset and you get the special currency. When you tap the office, you can see the number of tickets or dollars or currency that you will get using this feature. Each ticket or dollar grants profit bonus from all the trucks. So spend the tickets wisely.

Idle Food Truck Tycoon Recipe Books

As stated before, there are over (30) trucks to discover. On the right side of the game screen, tap the truck button to see the collection. To discover new trucks, you need to find all the parts – open the recipe books and get the parts. You can earn recipe books by exchanging the event currency in the event location – as described above. Or by completing the goals, using gems, coins, by completing goals(complete goals, get basket). Tap the fork button at the bottom-right corner -> go to the recipe book tab -> open the books or buy using the coins, gems.

How To Get Gems?

You can get gems by completing the goals, achievements, from the event currency exchange deals, and as a daily reward.

Idle Food Truck Tycoon – Tips & Tricks: –

1.) Tap The Drone

Now and then, you will often see a drone flying on your screen. Keep tapping it until it disappears – to earn loads of coins in no time.

2.) Watch The Video Ads For Free Boosters

On your screen, tap the bus and view a short video ad to get 2X profit for (4) hours. Tap the band -> view Ad and get 20X profit for a few seconds. However, we would not recommend you to watch it over and over as it only ruins the game experience. It’s an Idle game – just go AFK once you have done some upgrades and come back later to collect everything.

3.) Upgrade Wisely

In the first part of the guide, we have explained in detail which truck to upgrade first. Make sure to read it. (No. 9 truck>8>7>6>5>4>3>2>1). If you have 5 trucks, so make sure to upgrade the truck no. (5) first, then (4), (3), (2), and (1). It’s better to increase the level of each truck to 25 first so that they can produce enough number of coins to upgrade the last one because the production speed gets slow truck by truck.

4.) Must Participate In The Event, Tournament

Complete the goals to increase tournament rank – the top rankers get free gems, baskets, boosters, and the recipe ticket. Event – don’t ignore events in Idle Food Truck Tycoon game. Along with the main business, you should focus on it and try to earn event special currency – as much as you can. Spend it to get gems, recipe books, baskets.

5.) Complete The Goals, Achievements

By completing the goals, you can get baskets. From these baskets, you get free recipe books, gems, dollar, coins, etc. Complete the achievements to earn gems.
