Appxplore(iCandy), well-known for publishing beautiful idle games such as Light a Way, Crab War, Thor: War of Tapnarok, has just released another beautiful idle game where you will be fighting the wraiths and deadly bosses. You can go up to max 1000 stage(or even more) in this game – at certain milestone stages, you will be rewarded with the premium masks, in-game currencies such as dust, crystals, etc. Speaking of gameplay, you will progress stage-by-stage. On every stage in Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen, you will encounter a deadly boss – the wraith boss battles are not like the normal battles. In the normal battles, you have infinite time to clear the wave. But, In the boss battles, you have to achieve victory within the given time.
It gets challenging as you progress further in the stage mode. Masketeers are the characters who fight wraiths and bosses. You will have to raise their strength by equipping runes, masks, making upgrades, building talents, etc. Other than that, you have Guardians, Wisps in the game who grants buffs and bonuses. Once you finish the 50th stage, you will unlock the relic function. At that time, you will get Arcana – it’s the in-game currency in Masketeers, which you use to summon the powerful relics. A player acquires arcana through transcending. The transcend feature unlocks when you finish the 60th stage. As you clear the stages, you will gain more Arcana.
The “transcend” functions work like the prestige function. It resets the progress and you will be given Arcana. The two things we didn’t discuss yet are runes and masks. Masketeers or the main characters can equip masks and runes. The masks and runes empower the characters. Masks provide unique stat boost that you can reroll with DUST – “DUST” is another in-game currency in Masketeers world. You can use it for rerolling mask’s stats or upgrading the mask. You can acquire DUST from the chests available in the store. Speaking of runes, they help Masketeers gain more stat. If you equip the same color runes – matching the color of mask, Masketeers will get the bonus stats.

In Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen, your ultimate goal is to slay down all the bosses and finish all the stages. As said above, the stages get difficult over time. Initially, it’s easy to smash down the whole wraith squad – but it gets hellish over time. On the battlefield, the player can deploy up to four Masketeers; as of now, it seems, it has five characters; Caine(Attacker), Pixie(Defender), Coro(Supporter), Falcon(Attacker), and Titan(Defender). Caine’s ULT skill turns all orbs into Caine Orbs and increases his damage. PIXIE’s ULT skill increases the dodge chances for all allies + their auto-attacks steal 30% Sparks for a few seconds. Spark is the basic in-game currency that you by slaying down the wraiths.
CORO’s ULT skill increases allies’ attack speed. Falcon’s ULT skill inflict AoE DMG by shooting waves of arrows. And, Titan’s ULT skill inflict AoE and Stun. Chain The Orbs For Bonus Damage
Masketeers or the main characters can inflict more damage to the wraiths when you chain and strike their orbs – In other words, make combos. The best way to make combo is by tapping the odd orb and getting rid of it – the orb, which would be between the same type of orbs. Head to the Masketeers menu -> tap on the character’s mask -> In the bottom-left corner, tap the orb icon to check the combo benefits. For example – Pixie. If you chain two PIXIE Orbs, it gives 150% damage. If you chain three PIXIE Orbs, it gives 150% damage + heals an ally for 30% of their max HP. You get more buff by chaining more orbs.
The Orb skills unlock at specific Masketeer’s level; level 2, 4, 9, and 16. In the Masketeers tab, you can spend Spark and level them up. When they reach these milestone levels, they will gain the orb skill – allowing you to chain more orbs and get more buffs/damage.
Learn About The Guardians
Guardians, unlike Wisps and Masketeers, don’t appear on the battlefield. But, all of them provide stat boost to the player. You can level them up and get blessings for more stat boost. Each Guardian provides specific stat boost: –
- Power Guardian – more DPS
- Wealth Guardian – more Spark
- Vigor Guardian – more HP
- Guardian of Fortune – more CRIT DMG

Spend The Talent Points In Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen
A character gets a talent point upon leveling up. You can level them up by spending spark. Tap on their masks in the character menu to open the talent tree. On the talent tree, you will see a lot of talents where you can spend the talent points. Each talent provides a unqiue buff/bonus/boost. For example; spending on Damage Boost talent increases the character’s damage power. Read the talent description and spend talent points wisely; some could be helpful, while some could be useless. For example; if you want to increase the DPS of a character, spend on the damage boost talent all alone. It works better for the attackers.
Equip Runes Matching The Mask Color
Masketeers can equip one mask at a time. The mask gives additional stats to the character. Head to their profile from the main character menu; tap the mask icon -> tap the mask -> on the next screen, you can check all the Masks a character has. First thing is to check the rarity; the higher the rarity of a mask, the more sub-stats it provides. If you tap the mask, you will see the dice option next to the sub-stat. Tap it and you will be able to reroll the sub-stat. Every time you do this, you get a random sub-stat.
Speaking of the color, each mask has color boxes on it; green, blue, red, etc. Equipping the rune with the same color will give you the bonus stat. For example; if the mask has a green color on it, then green color rune will you more stats. In Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen, you can get runes and masks from the chests featured in the store.
Chests in Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen drops masks, runes, and dust. You get one wooden chest for free; it drops mask and runes. The other two chests in the store are imperial chest and sacred chest. You can get a rare-quality mask from the imperial chest – epic-grade mask from the sacred chest.
These chests cost crystals. Crystal is a valuable item in Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen. You can acquire it by completing certain stages; 21, 70, 130, 220, and so on. In the upper-left corner, tap the location symbol -> there you can check the milestone rewards.
Hatch And Upgrade Wisps In Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen
Wisps are the characters in Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen – they provide passive stats to the player. You can see them flying on the battlefield screen. At a time, you can have three Wisps on the battlefield. Also, from time to time, you get the Wisps’ orbs from the orb portal; help you unleash the skills.
Every certain amount of time, a core gets available – hatch Wisps and get more bonuses.
Mask Wraith And Spark Wraith
Now and then, Mask Wraith and Spark Wraith appears on the battlefield. Slay them down to get rewards; Mask Wraith drops mask. Spark Wraiths drop Spark.
Charms In Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen
Charms unlock at certain stage milestones. The first charm you get is Propseruma. This charm grants Sparks – based on the progress. Then you have ORBRUMA, VIGORUMA, HASTERUMA, REPELRUMA, and so on. All of them grant special buffs/boosts/bonuses. You can activate them from the transcendence tab – it costs crystals; don’t waste for these.
Get Arcana By Transcending
You should transcend when you are getting enough Arcana – to summon or upgrade relics in the next round. Clear more stages and get more Arcana.
Spend Aracana And Get Relics
Relics in Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen are permanent – relics grant massive stat boost; unique. You can gain permanent bonuses by completing the relic sets. In the relic tab, tap the eye in the top-left corner to check the relics set.
Activate The Fortune Cat
In the top-right corner, tap the fortune cat -> boost the earnings(Spark) by watching the video Ad. You can use Spark in upgrading Masketeers.
