You earn money by selling items, by levying the tax on residents, and from the tourists. To attract the residents and tourists, you build the house, shops, hotels, club, restaurant, and much more. You play as a mayor and start with the small town. The tier process is as follows -> Small Town -> City -> Urban City -> Big City -> Capital. To develop(for example; city to urban city), you need to complete the requirements; the number of residents, a certain amount of money. On the main screen of the game, at the top, tap the city option(star icon). There you can check the requirements

You earn money by completing the orders(port orders) or by imposing the tax. You can collect the tax after every certain amount of time from the main center. You can also check the city worth there. To increase the city worth or the tax amount, attract more residents and tourists. All you need to do is keep producing the items in producing centers; for example; you can produce donuts/cake in the restaurant. Upgrading material in the supply shop. Farming items in the farmers market. Just tap the building to get more details. Certain items are required to produce some items. For example; to produce gold karaoke, you need a dress and a cake. • Tokens And Storage

When you level up, the game rewards you tokens. Or sometimes, you also earn these tokens by completing the orders or advisor’s quests. These tokens are required to expand the city(unlock or buy a new piece of land) or to upgrade the storage. Your storage is limited and would not store more items once it reaches the maximum capacity. You can use these tokens to upgrade the storage and get more space. On the main screen, at the top-right corner, tap the home icon -> increase storage.

• Tourists and Residents

Tourists are the temporary source of income. They leave your city over time. You can attract tourists by completing the airport orders, building residentials special buildings; beach house(+700/4 hours, +1800/8 hours, and more landmarks-at level 10). You can collect the received tax amount from the resort. Residents are the permanent source of the city’s income. Build the house, decorative buildings, and more facilities in the city to attract more.

Since tourists leave the city over time, make sure to attract them continuously, otherwise, you will see a drop in earnings.

• Buildings Guide

In My City Entertainment Tycoon game, there are four types of buildings you can plant in the city; city facilities(such as resort, hall, market), decorative facilities, production businesses(to produce resources such as the donut, cloths, museum items, and more), residential house(to attract tourists/residents).

You can upgrade the house(there would be a yellow color construction helmet above that building). Upgrade it to attract more residents.

And also, production resources can also be upgraded. All you need to do is tap -> upgrade -> this will increase the star level of that building. You can obtain upgraded material; plastic, wood, and more from the supply store facility.

Producing these resources also gives you purple stars(required to increase the player/mayor/city level). At the top-left corner, tap the star icon to check the number of stars needed to level up.

Complete the port orders to earn money and stars. And complete the airport port orders to attract more tourists, stars, and earn special stars(purple stars with yellow stuff). You can spend the special stars in building the special residential facilities; beach house, celebrity house, and more.
