The sequel to hit cooking adventure game called Potion Punch has just gone live on mobile app stores. Monstronauts Inc., the publisher of the Potion Punch game series has just released the sequel Potion Punch 2 on iOS App Store and Android’s Google Play Store. The sequel is much better than the Original Potion Punch game. There are so many levels with increasing difficulty to complete – where the game tests your cooking skills. Potion Punch 2 Guide

In this part, we will learn about the levels, patrons, workers, etc. And, after that, we will head to the tips & cheats part! The Basics – you progress through the levels with increasing difficulty where you merge or mix the ingredients and make the recipes. There are lots of recipes in the game – potions, grilled daggerfish, etc. As you progress through the levels, you will discover new recipes.

Starting from Peakwood Potions area that features over 40 levels. At each level, the game gives you a certain goal(s) to complete – if you want three stars. As a reward, you get the player EXP, town EXP/PP(i.e. Peakwood Potions EXP), coins, and stars.

As the player level increases, new functions get unlocked. And, as the town(i.e. Peakwood Potions) level increases, you get new workers, shop items, furniture items. On the main interface of the game, at the top-left corner, you can check the current player level. And, tap the town to open the town menu -> at the top-center of it, you can check the EXP or town points required to reach the next level.

Potion Punch 2 Patrons

Potion Punch 2Patrons are the NPCs or the customers who visit the Potion shop during working hours. At the bottom-left corner of the main screen, tap the Patrons button to check the list of Patrons. You can unlock or obtain new Patrons by hosting the parties. In the Patron menu, tap on any customer to check his/her stats. These stats are: –

  • Waiting Time – the amount of time a customer will wait to be served or patience level
  • Max Tip – If you complete the orders quickly, Patrons give tip. By raising this stat, you can get more coins as a tip
  • XP Given – Serving customers give player XP. Raise this stat to get more EXP and level up quickly
  • PP GIven – Popularity Points or town points are given by a customer

How To Level Up Patrons?

You need the Patron’s tokens to raise his/her level. Patrons’ tokens can be obtained by hosting the parties, from the chests that you get by completing the quests or as a login reward. In the Patron menu, at the bottom of a Patron’s portrait, you can check the number of tokens required to raise the level. For example – if it’s 22/30 – that means you have 22 tokens – but you need 30 to raise his/her level.

Raising the level increases the Patron’s stats; waiting time, max tip, XP given, PP given.

Potion Punch 2 Workers

Workers have amazing abilities that help you during shop hours. There are nine workers in Potion Punch 2 – all of them have unqiue abilities and provide a unique buff to the player. For example – Lizzie’s Dragon Control ability prevents the Daggerfish from being burned. Dr. Hoot gives more coins per combo. Head to the workers menu -> tap the worker’s portrait -> tap the (i) symbol next to the ability to read the details.

Workers Level

You can improve the workers’ abilities by raising their level. To raise the worker’s level, you need worker XP. In the worker menu, at the bottom of the worker’s portrait, the game shows the amount of EXP required to reach the next level. The worker XP is obtained by serving Patrons. Before you start the level, the game lets you choose the worker – add the worker that you want to level up -> complete the level to grant XP to the worker.

How To Reset The Game Progress

If you want to start over, tap the gear icon on the left-center of the game screen -> head to the system tab and scroll down -> reset data -> yes. Keep in mind that you can not recover the data once deleted.

1.) Check The Recommendations

Potion Punch 2As you hit the play button, the game displays the level preparation screen where you can check the goals that you need to complete, the time limit for the goals, and the rewards. Also, you can assign/replace the workers. On the same screen, tap the rhombus symbol at the top-left corner, next to the smiley to check the recommendations: –

  • Recommended Upgrade Level
  • Shop Items and Furniture Upgrades

If it says that you need to upgrade, then head to the upgrades section(tap the town building -> shop items/furniture items -> upgrade them).

2.) Recall The Recipes

Potion Punch 2The Potion Punch 2 game features lots of recipes and it’s hard to remember because you have to mix lots of ingredients to make a specific recipe. If you have forgotten the recipe, then no need to worry. While in the level progress, tap the pause button that appears on the top-right corner -> tap the recipe book button next to the resume button -> there you can check the recipes list.

3.) Earn & Invest

From the levels, you earn coins. Make sure to spend the coins wisely – do the recommended improvements – upgrade the shop items so that you can serve the customers quickly, upgrade the furniture items to get more bonuses. For example – upgrade shrine to increase max workers number. Upgrade the essence tub(shop items) to store more essence.

These are the small improvements that you need to do now and then as you progress through the levels.

4.) Smartly Serve The Orders

Your goal is to quickly serve the order and get the max tip from the customer – considering the goals. If there are so many orders on the screen – no need to worry – focus on one or two orders at a time. Give priority to the difficult orders first because they are hard to complete in the given time.

5.) Repeat The Levels To Grind EXP and Coins

You can repeat the past levels and earn coins, EXP. Tap the town building on the screen -> levels -> select the level -> play. However, you don’t get the bonus reward upon repeating the past levels.

6.) Get Combo On Three Recipes

Potion Punch 2You can easily get the combo bonus on the three recipes ordered by a customer. For example – the three items ordered by the customer are red potion, red potion, and daggerfish. Now, if you give all these items at a time – back-to-back without delay, you will get the combo bonus.

7.) Host The Parties Daily

Host the parties to get tokens – level up Patrons to increase their patience level, tip amount, etc.

8.) Complete The Quests

On the top-left corner, below the avatar, tap the quest icon -> complete all the daily quests for chests and other rewards.

9.) Get Free Coins & Gems

Head to the market -> coins tab -> free offers -> watch the ad for free coins -> do the Social Media tasks for free gems. Use the gems wisely(on upgrades).

10.) Use The Workers Wisely

You can assign a certain number of workers for a level. Make sure to read their abilities details. For example – Lizzie is one of the best workers because she prevents the dragon from burning the daggerfish.
