Published by Pixel Federation, the creators of Trainstation 2, Port City Ship Tycoon is a brand new title that you will find similar to Trainstation 2. In this game, you will be managing the ship tycoon. You will dispatch the ships to collect resources from the resource sites and then use those resources to complete the contracts, craft products, and other purposes. The following Port City Ship Tycoon guide is for beginners and gives some tips on how to progress quickly in the game. So let’s not waste any time and get started: – 

Guide To Ship Pilots In Port City Ship Tycoon⇓

Ship Pilots are required to manage the ships; the more pilots you have, the more ships you can dispatch on missions. At the beginning of the game, you have X3 Pilots – so you will be able to send up to X3 ships on the missions at a time. If you wish to get more, you will either need to watch the video ad or spend diamonds. just tap on the pilot cap in the top-left corner, next to the level progress bar, and then tap on buy more option. It will open a new screen where you will see more pilots that you can hire; either by watching the video ads or using green gems.

Tips To Spend Gems On Port City Ship Tycoon⇓

The green gem is the precious currency in the Port City Ship Tycoon game, which you can use to buy pilots, speed up resource collection, or contract timings, open containers. 

We would recommend saving the green gems for upgrading factories like an iron mill, smelting plants or buy quality containers, which cost gems. Basic containers cost keys, but quality containers cost gems. 

These premium containers in the shop -> ships section have a high drop rate for legendary, epic, and rare ships. Basic containers’ drop rate is very low. If you want premium ships in your fleet, you should be saving gems for these premium containers. 

Port City Ship Tycoon Guide To Ships⇓

Ships in the Port City Ship Tycoon game are classified into four grades; common grade, rare grade, epic grade, and legendary grade. Common grade ships are marked with grey color, blue color for rare, purple color for epic, and gold color for legendary. 

The higher the grade of the ship, the more its cargo capacity. That means you can collect more resources from the resource tiles at a time. 

You can get the ships from the shop. Tap on the shop icon in the lower-right corner, go to the ship tab, there you will find containers; buy the ship container to get a ship. 

In some missions, you are required to have a specific grade of ships. For instance, if the mission’s requirement or contract’s requirement is “Epic”, you will need epic grade ship. 

Guide To Upgrading Ships⇓

To upgrade ships, you need ship parts or upgrade material. You can get the materials for upgrading ships from contracts, shops, watching video ads, containers, and using coins. Go to the shop -> ship tab -> buy a container that features ship parts. Or navigate to the daily offers tab of the shop menu -> there you’ll find the deals that you can grab with coins or by watching the video ads.

Guide & Tips To Earn Gems⇓

You will receive gems upon leveling up or by completing the achievements. Tap on the achievement option in the lower-right corner -> collect the gems by completing those achievements. Make sure to watch the video ad to double the reward. 

Guide To Progression⇓

• Dispatch ships to collect resources
• Complete contracts or jobs and progress through the characters’ stories, you will earn EXP, coins, and other stuff by doing these missions
• Visit home side; build and upgrade factories or facilities like an iron mill, smelting plants to craft products. You will need these products to complete jobs. Also, you can upgrade these facilities with green gems and buy more slots to put more products on crafting at a time
• Upgrade decorative or level up decorative facilities like shopping centers, schools, condominiums, parks to increase the population. Upgrading warehouse requires a certain population figure. You will need city plans or maps for leveling up these facilities
