Project Slayers Breathing Tier List: Breathing Guide [UPDATE 1.5]

When the player reaches level 12, the game unlocks a new feature; acquiring breathing. Breathings are the most essential thing you can own as a slayer. To get breathing, all the players must be trained by their respective trainers located in various locations all over the map.

  • Water Trainer
  • Thunder Trainer
  • Insect Trainer
  • Wind Trainer
  • Beast Trainer
  • Mist Trainer
  • Flame Trainer
  • Snow Trainer[Snowy Place, OUWOHANA LOCATIONS]
  • Sound Trainer[Sound Cave, OUWOHANA LOCATIONS]

Water Trainer

To learn Water breathing, you need to reach out to Urokodaki, who is a Water trainer and will teach you the first X5 moves of Water breathing. 

Location

Players can find Water trainer Urokodaki Inside Waroru Cave. Check this Project Slayers Map.

Requirements

Reach level 12 and have at least 5K Wen. Keep an eye on Project Slayers codes for freebies. 

Training

You will be put through multiple trials depending on what breathing your training is; you will have to find out those trials for yourself.

Thunder Trainer

To learn Thunder breathing, you need to reach out to Jigoro Kuwajima, who is a Thunder trainer and will teach you the first X5 moves of Thunder breathing. 

Location

The trainer Jigoro Kuwajima is located on Zapiwara Mountain. Check this Project Slayers Map.

Requirements

Reach level 12 and have at least 5K Wen. Keep an eye on Project Slayers codes for freebies. 

Training

You will be put through multiple trials depending on what breathing your training is; you will have to find out those trials for yourself.

Insect Trainer

To learn insect breathing, you need to reach out to Shinobu, who is an insect trainer and will teach you the first X5 moves of Insect breathing. 

Location

Shinobu can be found in Butterfly Mansion. Check this Project Slayers Map.

Beast Trainer

  • Location: Beast Cave
  • Requires level 75 and 10K Wen

Mist Trainer

  • Location: Ouwohana, Mist Area
  • Requires level 75, 10K Wen, and 150 Demon Horns

Flame Trainer

  • Location: Wop City
  • Requires level 75, 10K Wen, 150 Demon Horns

Project Slayers Breathing Tier List: Are all breathings good?

All breathings are useful; some perform better in PvE while some in PvP. 

Project Slayers Snow Breathing

  • Leaps into the air and hits the ground with a down slam, turning the ground around into ice.
  • Reforms into the snow and leaves a snow pathway behind them. Once out of this form, anyone near gets hit with a burst strike
  • Spins and raises the sword up into the air, generating an upward wave of devastating snow.
  • Pulls the sword back before bringing it back forward to unleash a gust of snow to damage anyone in front of them.
  • Three consecutive slashes of snow
  • Summons two ice projectiles that pierce through the enemy

Project Slayers Sound Breathing

  • Close to mid-range slash and dash strike
  • Lifts the swords up and then smashes them into the ground, causing a devastating explosion
  • Explosive slashes; burst DMG
  • Pulls in the enemy and smashes them away with a point-blank strike
  • Unleash a massive explosion and uses the smoke to go invisible[temporarily]
  • Runs forward with fireworks and strike the enemies

Project Slayers Breathing Tier List: Water Breathing

1st Move: The user slightly dashes forward and does a horizontal slash in front of them. This move can be aimed vertically (Up and down). This move is not a block breaker.

2nd Move: The user spins into a water wheel, bringing you to your enemies. This move can be aimed depending on where your mouse is. This move can be held down by increasing the duration of the attack. This move is not a block breaker. (It’s very hard to block, however)

3rd Move: The user unleashes a water serpent to where the enemy is. This move can be aimed depending on where your mouse is. This move is not a block breaker.

4th Move: The user slightly dashes forward and unleashes a ripple thrust at your enemy. This move can be aimed depending on the direction your character is facing; This move is not a block breaker.

5th Move: The user quickly jumps in the air and unleashes the Waterfall basin when landing. This move can be aimed depending on where your mouse is; This move is a block breaker.

6th Move: The user unleashes a constant flux of water onto the enemy. This move can be aimed depending on the direction your character is facing. This move is a block breaker.

  • Rapid Slash ATKs

Project Slayers Beast Breathing

  • Close range strikes
  • Dash and slash
  • Hurls weapon to strike enemies, leaps and strikes the enemy
  • Air slash
  • Close-range uppercut

Project Slayers Mist Breathing

  • Long-range mist slash
  • Exponential strikes
  • AoE Mist DMG
  • Leaps and strike the enemies in range
  • 3 Mist slashes that cause DMG on the enemies
  • Disperse mist, strike enemies, goes invisible

Project Slayers Flame Breathing

  • Long-range flame slash
  • Dash and slash enemies with fiery strike
  • Musters strength, slashes in the area around
  • Leaps and strikes the enemies
  • Unleashes 2 Flame slash, Flame Tiger to strike enemies

Project Slayers Breathing Tier List: How many breathings will there be at launch?

Currently, limited breathings are available. All breathings will ultimately release, and any unreleased breathings will release when their respective update comes out, including the moon and sun breathing.
